The European steel industry is an important world producer of crude steel, the efficiency and reliability of transport are a central importance to Europe’s competitiveness and are at the same time a considerable challenge.
Actually only a small part of steel and iron products are transported by rail.
In this context Eurologistic, Logistic Service Supplier, and Trenitalia, Leading Railway Company, have developed a common project with the aim of shifting the road transport to an environmentally sustainable option by creating a different logistic model.
